Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:3309

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Yazid bin Ibrahim narrated to us, from Ibn Sirin, regarding a man who gave yarn to a weaver and he ruined it. He said: Shurayh used to say: "Establish the evidence that he ruined it." Then, if he established the evidence, he would say to the weaver: "Give him the like of his yarn."
