Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, he said: Humayd ibn Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Abbad ibn al-Awwam, from al-Shaybani, from al-Sha’bi, regarding a pledged slave: His maintenance is upon the pledger.
