Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hafs bin Ghiyath narrated to us, from al-Shaybani, from al-Sha'bi, who said: I never saw Shurayh except that he would hold the hired worker liable, except for a man who hired a man to feed two mules for him with grass, and one of them ran away, so he did not hold him liable.
