Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Ziyad narrated to us, he said: I bought a sheep from a man and I paid him its price in cash. Then I came to take possession of it, and the seller said: "It was about to die, so my family slaughtered it." So he disputed with him before Shurayh. Shurayh said: "Return the price to him."
