Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:3431

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Khalid ibn al-Harith narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Abi 'Aruba, from Qatada, from Khallas, from Abu Rafi', from Abu Hurayrah, that two men claimed an animal, and neither of them had evidence. So the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, ordered them to cast lots regarding the oath.
