Hadith 13:346
Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman narrated to us, he said: I heard Ibn Abi al-Hakam saying: My grandmother narrated to me, from my paternal uncle, Abu Rafi' ibn 'Amr al-Ghifari, who said: I was a young boy throwing stones at the date palms of the Ansar. It was said to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, "There is a boy here throwing stones at our date palms." I was brought to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he said, "O boy, why do you throw stones at the date palms?" I said, "To eat." He said, "Do not throw stones at the date palms, and eat from what falls beneath them." Then he wiped my head and said, "O Allah, fill his stomach."
