'Abbad ibn al-'Awwam narrated to us, from Sufyan ibn Husayn, who said: I asked al-Hasan and Ibn Sirin. I said: "I went out to al-Ubulla, and we pass by palm trees and eat from them, and [we pass by] fruit; both of them permitted it for me." And they both said: "As long as it does not bear [a burden/cost] or spoil."
