Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:407

Yahya ibn Sa'id al-Qattan narrated to us, from Sa'id, from Firas, from al-Sha'bi, from Abu Burdah, from Abu Musa, who said: "There are three whose supplication is not answered: A man who gave his wealth to a foolish person, while Allah has said: 'And do not give the foolish your wealth.' And a man who had a woman of bad character, yet he did not separate from her and did not divorce her. And a man who bought something but did not call for witnesses."
