Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:408

Waki’ narrated to us, from Hammad bin Zayd, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, who said: There are three whose supplication is not answered: A man who supplicates against his wife and his slave, and a man who buys and sells but does not call for witnesses.
