Asbat ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Abd al-Hamid, from Ata, who said: He was asked about the Jew and the Christian: "Should they be made to swear by the Torah and the Gospel?" He said: "Make them swear by Allah, for the Torah and the Gospel are from the Book of Allah."
