Waki’ narrated to us, from Mis’ar, who said: Al-Mughirah, the freed slave of ‘Amr ibn Hurayth, narrated to me, saying: Al-Sha’bi was asked about the hides of dead water buffaloes. He disliked selling them before they were tanned.
