Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Al-Asbagh ibn Zayd al-Warraq informed us, he said: Abu al-Zahiriyah narrated to us, from Kathir ibn Murrah al-Hadrami, from Ibn Umar, from the Prophet, peace be upon him, who said: "Whoever hoards food for forty nights has dissociated from Allah, and Allah has dissociated from him. And whichever people of a courtyard (neighborhood/settlement) among whom a person remains hungry, the protection of Allah has dissociated from them."
