Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:575

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Usamah ibn Zayd, from Nafi’, from Ibn ‘Umar, he said: If a man dies and he owes a debt and the dowry of his wife, then she is on equal footing with the creditors. If there is in his house oil, or wheat, or other than that, then it is for the heirs, unless he had specified it for the one whom he entered upon while he was healthy.
