Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Jarir narrated to us, from Mansur, from Ibrahim, regarding a group of people: They enter into a *kitabah* (contract of manumission) together, then some of them die. He said: The remaining ones strive to pay what they contracted for, all of them.
