Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Jarir narrated to us, from Mughira, from Simak, who said: A woman borrowed some rings, and she wanted to perform ablution, so she placed them in her lap, and they were lost. They went up to Shurayh, and he said: "She only borrowed them to return them, and she acted contrary [to that], so Shurayh held her liable for them."
