Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from Tariq, from al-Sha’bi, from Ali, who said: "A Mukatab (a slave under a contract of manumission) is emancipated in proportion to what he has paid."
