Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:67

Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Isma'il ibn Abi Khalid, from al-Sha'bi, that he used to see no harm in a trustworthy person taking your wealth. A man said to him, "Indeed, some people dislike the guarantor (al-qabil), but they see no harm in the surety (al-kafil)."
