Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Yunus, from al-Hasan, that he disliked the selling of a *mudabbar* (a slave promised freedom upon the master's death), unless its owner is afflicted with severe poverty.
