Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:78

Hafs ibn Ghiyath narrated to us, from Layth, from Tawus, who said: Every sale that is deferred (nasi'ah) is disliked, [as is] the taking of collateral (al-qabil) and the pledge (al-rahn) in it.
