Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:805

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Ayyub, who said: Muhammad [ibn Sirin] was asked about a man who sells goods for a deferred term, and then the term expires—may he take [other] goods [in exchange for the debt]? He said: "A man used to come to his debtor and take from him." It was said to him: "Does he sell food and take food [in exchange]?" He said: "As for that, I do not say anything about it."
