Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from al-Mas’udi, from Jabir, from Abu al-Duha, from Masruq, from ‘Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) narrated to us, and he is the truthful, the believed: "The selling of *al-muhaffalat* (animals whose milk has been withheld in the udder to deceive the buyer) is *khulaba* (deception), and *khulaba* is not lawful for a Muslim."
