Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Mahdi ibn Maymun, from Ibn Sirin, who said: There was a teacher in Medina who had among his students the sons of the prominent elite. He said: They used to acknowledge his right [to a gift] during Nayruz and Mihrajan.
