Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:908

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Khalid al-Ahmar narrated to us, from Ibn ‘Awn, from Ibn Sirin, who said: ‘Uqbah ibn Mas‘ud came to his family and found a gift. He said: "What is this?" They said: "The one for whom you interceded [sent it]." He said: "Take it out! Shall I hasten the reward of my intercession in the world?"
