Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hafs narrated to us, from Ash'ath, from Abu al-Jahm, who said: I wrote a record of a right [I had] against a number of people. I said: "Whichever of them I wish, I will take my right from." So I brought them before Shurayh, and he said: "Take [it from] whichever of them you wish."
