Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:976

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Siwar, from al-Walid ibn Abi Hisham, who said: Uthman said: The four-room house (rubā‘ī) which is in Makkah, the sons [of the owner] dwell in it, and they let dwell in it whomever they love.
