Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, he said: al-Mas’udi narrated to us, from ‘Imran ibn ‘Umayr, he said: My neighbor withheld from me his surplus water, so I asked ‘Ubayd Allah ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Utbah ibn Mas’ud. He said: I heard Abu Hurayrah saying: "It is not lawful to sell surplus water."
