Hadith 21:144
Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from ‘Ata’ ibn al-Sa’ib, from his father, from ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Two traits, no man preserves them except that he enters Paradise. They are easy, but those who perform them are few." It was said: "What are they, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "The five prayers; a man glorifies (says *SubhanAllah*) ten times after every prayer, praises (says *Alhamdulillah*) ten times, and magnifies (says *Allahu Akbar*) ten times. That is one hundred and fifty on the tongue, and one thousand five hundred in the scale." He said: "And I have seen the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) counting them on his hand. And he would glorify thirty-three times, praise thirty-three times, and magnify thirty-four times when he went to his bed at night. And when he retired to his bed, he would glorify, praise, and magnify one hundred times. That is one hundred on the tongue, and one thousand in the scale." He said: "So which of you commits two thousand five hundred sins in a night?"
