Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 21:233

Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from al-‘Ala’, from Abu Dawud al-Awdi, from Buraydah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said to me: "Shall I not teach you words that, if Allah intends good for a person, He teaches them to him, and then he never forgets them?" He said: "Say: O Allah, I am weak, so strengthen my weakness in Your pleasure, and take me by my forelock toward good, and make Islam the ultimate end of my contentment. O Allah, I am weak, so strengthen me; and I am lowly, so honor me; and I am poor, so provide for me."
