Hadith 21:299

Abu Usama narrated to us, from Mis'ar, from Ibrahim al-Saksaki, from Abdullah ibn Abi Awfa, who said: A man came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and mentioned that he was unable to learn anything from the Quran and asked him for something that would suffice in place of the Quran. He said to him: "Say: 'Subhan Allah' (Glory be to Allah), 'Al-hamdulillah' (Praise be to Allah), 'La ilaha illa Allah' (There is no god but Allah), 'Allahu Akbar' (Allah is the Greatest), and 'La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah' (There is no power and no strength except by Allah)."
