Yahya ibn Abi Bukayr narrated to us, Zuhayr ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Khusayfa, from ‘Amr ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn Ka‘b, from Nafi‘ ibn Jubayr, from ‘Uthman ibn Abi al-‘As al-Thaqafi, who said: I came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and I had a pain that had almost destroyed me. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Place your right hand upon it, then say: 'O Allah, in the name of Allah, I seek refuge in the might of Allah and His power from the evil of what I feel,' seven times." So I did that, and Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, healed me.
