Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 21:406

Waki’ narrated to us, from al-Mas’udi, from ‘Awn ibn ‘Abd Allah, from Abu Fakhitah, from al-Aswad ibn Yazid, who said: ‘Abd Allah said: Allah says: "Whoever has a covenant with Me, let him stand." They said: "O Abu ‘Abd al-Rahman, so teach us." He said: Say: "O Allah, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, I make a covenant with You in this worldly life: that if You entrust me to a deed that brings me closer to evil and distances me from good—and I do not trust in anything except Your mercy—then make it for me a covenant with You that You will fulfill for me on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, You do not break the promise."
