Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 21:408

Ja'far ibn 'Awn narrated to us, from Mis'ar, from Ma'n, who said: Abdullah used to say in his supplication: "O Allah, help me against the terrors of the world, the calamities of time, and the disasters of the nights and the days. And suffice me against the evil of what the wrongdoers do on the earth. O Allah, accompany me in my travel and be my successor in my residence. Make me beloved to You, and make me great in the eyes of the people, and remember me in Yourself, and humble me in my own soul for Your sake, and distance me from evil character. O Most Merciful, to whom are You entrusting me? To a stranger who treats me harshly, or to a relative whom You have given authority over my affair?"
