Hadith 21:410

Abu Mu’awiyah narrated to us, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Ishaq, from al-Qasim ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman, from ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud, who said: No servant has ever supplicated with these supplications except that Allah expanded his livelihood for him: "O Possessor of favor, may no one show favor over You. O Possessor of Majesty and Honor. O Possessor of bounty and bestowal. There is no god but You, the support of those who seek refuge, the neighbor of those who seek protection, and the place of safety for those who fear. If You have written me with You in the Mother of the Book as wretched, then erase from me the name of wretchedness and confirm me with You as happy, granted success for good. For You say in Your Book: 'Allah eliminates what He wills or confirms, and with Him is the Mother of the Book.'"
