Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 21:430

Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Sufyan, from Jabir, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who said: "O Allah, whichever believer I have cursed, or insulted, or whipped, then make it a purification and a reward for him."
