Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from al-‘Ala’ ibn al-Musayyab, from ‘Amr ibn Murrah, who said: When the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, finished his food, he would say: "Praise be to Allah who bestowed favor upon us and guided us, and praise be to Allah who satisfied our hunger and quenched our thirst, and for every good or righteous trial He has tested us with."
