Hadith 21:448
Abu Usama narrated to us, from Hisham, who said: My father would not be brought food or drink—even a sip of medicine—without him drinking or eating it until he said: "Praise be to Allah who has guided us, fed us, given us drink, and favored us. Allah is the Greatest. O Allah, You have familiarized us with Your favor in every evil, so we have entered the morning and the evening with every good from it. We ask You for its completion and its gratitude. There is no good except Your good, and there is no god other than You, the God of the righteous and the Lord of the worlds. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. There is no god but Allah. What Allah wills [happens], and there is no power except by Allah. O Allah, bless for us what You have provided us, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."
