Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from Mughirah, from Ibrahim, who said: A man gave a sermon in the presence of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has been rightly guided, and whoever disobeys them both has gone astray." He said: The face of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, changed, and he disliked that. Ibrahim said: They used to dislike that one should say "and whoever disobeys them both," but rather they would say "whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger."
