Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 21:472

Al-Hasan ibn Musa narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah informed us, from Abu Ja’far, from Muhammad ibn Ka’b, from Abdullah ibn Yazid al-Khatmi, that he used to say: "O Allah, grant me Your love, and the love of one whose love will benefit me with You. O Allah, grant me what I love, and make it a strength for me in what You love. And what You have withheld from me of what I love, make it for me a leisure for what You love."
