Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 21:50

Abu Usama narrated to us, from Ali ibn Ali, who said: I heard Abu al-Mutawakkil al-Naji say: Abu Sa’id said: The Prophet of Allah said: "There is no Muslim who supplicates with a supplication in which there is no sin nor severing of kinship, except that Allah gives him one of three things: either He hastens his supplication for him, or He stores it for him in the Hereafter, or He averts from him an evil equal to it." They said: "Then we will increase [our supplications], O Messenger of Allah." He said: "Allah is more abundant."
