Abu Khalid al-Ahmar narrated to us, from Ibn ‘Ajlan, from Sulayman ibn Abi Yahya, who said: The companions of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) used to take from one another—meaning gesturing with the finger during supplication.
