Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 21:59

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Mis’ar, from Abu Bakr ibn Hafs, from al-Hasan ibn al-Hasan, that ‘Abd Allah ibn Ja’far married off his daughter, and he went into seclusion with her and said: "When death descends upon you, or a terrible matter from the affairs of the world, then face it by saying: 'There is no god but Allah, the Forbearing, the Generous. Glory be to Allah, Lord of the Great Throne. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.'" Al-Hasan ibn al-Hasan said: "Then al-Hajjaj sent for me, and I said them (the words). I did not stand before him until he said: 'By Allah, I sent for you while I intended to strike your neck, but you have come, and there is no one from the people of the house more noble to me than you. Ask me for your need.'"
