Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 21:622

Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from al-Shaybani, from Bashir ibn ‘Amr, who said: The Ghilan (ogres/demons) were mentioned in the presence of his uncle, may Allah have mercy on him. He said: "Indeed, there is nothing that can change the creation of Allah from its creation, but they have sorcerers like your sorcerers. So if you see anything of that, then give the Adhan."
