Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 21:623

Muhammad ibn Abd Allah al-Asadi narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Layla, from his brother Isa ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from Abu Ayyub, that he was in a small room of his, and the ghoul would come. He complained about it to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. He said: "When you see her, say: 'In the name of Allah, answer the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.'" He said: "So she came to him, and he said that to her, so he seized her. She said to him: 'I will not return,' so he released her. He came, and the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said to him: 'What did your captive do?' He said: 'I seized her, and she said: I will not return, so I released her.' He said: 'She will return.'" "So he seized her two or three times, and every time she would say: 'I will not return.' And he would come to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and he would say: 'What did your captive do?' He would say: 'I seized her, and she says: I will not return.' He would say: 'She will return.'" "So he seized her, and she said: 'Release me, and I will teach you something to say so that nothing will approach you: Ayat al-Kursi.' So he came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and informed him. He said: 'She spoke the truth, and she is a liar.'"
