Ghundar narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Zayd al-'Ammi, from Abu al-Siddiq al-Naji, who said: I asked Abu Sa'id about the prayer over the funeral. He said: We used to say: "O Allah, our Lord and his Lord, You created him, provided for him, gave him life, and sufficed him; so forgive us and him, do not deprive us of his reward, and do not lead us astray after him."
