Hafs narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from ‘Amr ibn Shu‘ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, from thirty of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), that they did not stand for the matter of the funeral prayer upon anything.
