Jarir narrated to us, from Mughira, from al-Asla' ibn Hayy, who said: I was in Medina seeking my wealth. I said to Abu Hurayrah, "Supplicate to Allah to grant me victory." He said, "O Allah, if he is oppressed, then grant him victory, and if he is an oppressor, then grant victory over him."
