Marwan ibn Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from Sabih, the freed slave of Banu Marwan, from Makhul, who said: I heard him saying regarding *al-rahsah* (laminitis/hoof ailment): "In the name of Allah, You are the Protector, and You are the Healer, and You are the Everlasting." Then he ties knots in a new hemp thread or hair, then he binds it to the beast for *al-rahsah*.
