Ubayd Allah ibn Musa narrated to us, he said: Musa ibn Ubaydah informed us, from Umar ibn al-Hakam al-Ansari, he said: I asked him, "Did the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) pray in the Mosque of al-Fath, which is called the Mosque of the Confederates (al-Ahzab)?" He said: "He did not pray in it, but he supplicated in it. Among his supplication was that he said: 'O Allah, to You is the praise. There is no guide for whom You have led astray, and no one to lead astray whom You have guided. There is no one to humiliate whom You have honored, and no one to honor whom You have humiliated. There is no helper for whom You have forsaken, and no one to forsake whom You have helped. There is no one to grant might to whom You have abased, and no one to abase whom You have granted might. There is no provider for whom You have withheld, and no one to withhold from whom You have provided. There is no preventer for whom You have given, and no one to give to whom You have prevented. There is no raiser for whom You have lowered, and no one to lower whom You have raised. There is no concealer for whom You have exposed, and no one to expose whom You have concealed. There is no bringer-near for whom You have distanced, and no one to distance whom You have brought near.'" Then he supplicated against them, and there did not remain in Medina a liar from the Confederates or from the polytheists except that Allah destroyed him, except for Huyayy ibn Akhtab and Qurayzah; Allah killed them and scattered them.
