Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 21:89

Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih narrated to us, he said: Habib ibn Ubayd narrated to me, from Jubayr ibn Nufayr al-Hadrami, from Awf ibn Malik al-Ashja'i, he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saying over the deceased: "O Allah, wash him with water, snow, and hail, and cleanse him of sins just as the white garment is cleansed of filth."
