Waki’ narrated to us, from Mahdi bin Maymun, who heard it from Ghaylan bin Jarir, from a man, from Ibn Abbas, that when he would hear the thunder, he would say: "Glory be to Allah and by His praise, glory be to Allah the Almighty."
